Interview to survivors

Vanessa: Hello, here we are with John and Mandy, two of the survivours to this strong hurricane that has caused so many deaths. Mandy, what were you doing when the hurricane occured?




Mandy: Me and my husband were walking through the Negrito Valley, like we always do. Then, my husband said to me that he noted some wind that wasn't normal there. After 10 minutes, this wind was strongly enough and when we were going to hide in a cave, a palm fell just in the entrance of the cave. Finally we found another cave and hide in it, until the soldiers came and save us.




Vanessa: What a sad story... And you John, where did you hide when the hurricane Mabel hit San Fernandez?


John: Well, we were with the soldiers when the hurricane hit the island and they said to us to hide under a rock there was there. It lasted a long time, and we thought that we wouldn't survive to that!


Vanessa: Yes John, anyone thought they were going to survive... Well, as you can see, these hurricane has caused the deaths of millions of people.
